Built for the hardest gas duties in the range: a 700 kW containerized genset for oilfield associated gas, coal mine gas and wellhead gas sites that run for very high hours per year and where the alternative is flaring or running a diesel genset.

The AP-700NG targets sites where the gas is a by-product rather than a designed fuel stream. Associated petroleum gas from production, coal mine gas from ventilation shafts and wellhead gas all have properties that differ from pipeline natural gas: fluctuating pressure, variable methane content, hydrogen sulphide and condensible hydrocarbons. A genset that runs cleanly on pipeline gas can fail on these fuels, so the gas train and the engine match are decided by your analysis, not by the model number.
Output is available from 400 V up to 10.5 kV, which lets the unit sit either behind an existing low-voltage distribution board or feed directly into a site substation. The containerized build is intended for outdoor installation on a prepared base, with the fuel, ventilation and control systems integrated inside the enclosure.

Yes, with the right treatment. Coal mine gas is low in methane and can contain significant H₂S, so output has to be derated from the nameplate and the desulfurization package sized accordingly. This is a common application in Chinese coal mining regions and we will state the guaranteed rating on your specific gas analysis rather than on pipeline assumptions.
It lets the unit connect at a higher voltage level, which reduces current and therefore cable losses over long distances — relevant for open-pit mines and oilfields where the genset sits far from the load centre. At 400 V the same power would require much heavier cabling. We confirm the connection voltage against your existing switchgear.
Running many hours per year is exactly where the 60,000-hour overhaul interval matters. Maintenance planning and remote monitoring become more valuable than at low-hours standby duty. We can include monitoring and a spare parts recommendation in the scope.
Typical production lead time is 45–75 days depending on configuration, voltage and gas treatment scope, plus shipping. Contact us for a current commitment date.
